About the role

Reporting to the HR Consultant in our Brisbane office, we are looking for a HR Coordinator to join our HR team.  Joining the team as a HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures, recruitment, managing performance reviews, and training and development. Your duties will be many and varied and will include the following:

  • Drafting employment contracts
  • Drafting employment letters eg. probation, resignation, parental leave, change in employment conditions
  • Diary management for the HR team (booking in meetings)
  • Administer all leave requests
  • Work with HR team on coordination of our Graduate Recruitment Program
  • On-boarding process for all new starters
  • Coordinate and facilitate new starter orientation and induction
  • Update payglobal payroll system in regards to terminations for reporting purposes
  • Assist in the administration of WHS requirements
  • Organising Ergonomic Assessments
  • Assisting our Talent Acquisition Specialist with reference checks, short listing candidates and booking in interviews
  • Travel bookings for the HR team
  • Assist with other HR projects and general administrative duties as required

The successful candidate

You will be working in a close knit, highly collaborative and fun team. You will be given training, mentoring and guidance from your peers and leader. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable in this dynamic environment. Ideal background and skills include:

  • Human Resources Tertiary qualification
  • Previous experience within a professional services environment is a must
  • Strong attention to detail, communication and time management skills
  • The passion and attitude to work in a fast passed professional services environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Working successfully within a team environment
  • Strong administrative and or secretarial experience
  • Excellent trouble-shooting skills
  • Able to work in a high volume environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key partners and staff
  • Ability to service internal clients and produce high quality outcomes
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
